Located just 10 miles north of Charleston in Elkview, WV, Elk Valley Veterinary Hospital is the original location of both hospitals, bringing that same care and customer service to pets and their owners in more rural areas of northern Kanawha County and beyond. Elk Valley has been servicing the area for 45 years, and in doing so, many of our clients have come to view our doctors and staff as family.

Equipped to handle both large and small animals, Elk Valley offers an enclosed area with large animal stocks and two stalls, which allow us to provide quality care to horses, goats and cattle, in addition to dogs, cats and more. As interconnected hospitals, the same skilled doctors rotate between Elk Valley and Valley West, allowing pets and their owners convenient access to a variety of services and seamless care.
